Hello! 你好! Ciao!

First, before i start my self reflection. I would like to thank the teachers who made this trip possible and the other 15 schoolmates who made me this trip more than just enjoyable. Also, i would like to thank Mr Jani and Mr Dan! :D Thanks for everything!

Now, for my reflection.
From this Europe Trip, i've learnt that both Germany and Italy are part of the European Union. Being in the union means that the currency they use in these countries are the same. I also learnted that men and women from Germany wear traditional costumes such as dirndl and lederhosen. Next, i'm going to list out my gains in Germany, specifically from the Dachau Memorial Camp since that's where i've learnt the most things.

1. Dachau Concentration Camp is one of the first concentration camps built.
2. Hitler trained his soldiers to be cruel and heartless.
3. Everything you say or do makes a difference.

This is what Mr Dan told us, which i think is very true.
Watch your words, for they become thoughts.
Watch your thoughts, for they become a habit.
Watch your habit, for it becomes your character.
What you say is what you are.

Now for what i've learnt from Italy!
1. There are no vehicles in Venice, which is kind of a good thing, because less cars = less carbon monoxide = less harm to Earth.
2. One of the world famous active volcano (Mt. Vesuvius) is located in Rome!
3.Vatican City is where the pope stays. It's a very holy place.
4. Vatican CIty has a population of only 900 people!
5. The city of Pompeii was covered in ashes due to the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79AD.

This trip has impact me in many ways. I have made alot of new friends and gain alot of knowledge. This trip has made me a better person. I'll never forget this trip to Europe, and everyone involved. Goodbye, Europe! I'll miss you!

Love, Cheryl :D
